I hate that idea so much, I love driving myself.

For slow people I ride their tail till I can pass or they get it in their thick skulls to speed up. Other a-holes (aggressive or ridiculously fast drivers) I just ignore. I don't care if other people want driverless cars, they can do whatever they want, but I'm not giving up my driving.

I've been driving since I was 13, licensed at 16. I also had a CDL and drove semi trucks for a while. I love driving.

I'm 36 and I learned to drive when I was 12 on the farm. That being said I have never even tried to get a liscence. I ride my bike everywhere. Sometimes people say something about it, but I retort that I'm healthy and I don't leave a big carbon footprint and they usually shut up about it. I don't like driving in traffic. It's just too much going on there. I drove a drunk friend home a couple of years ago and we got pulled over. I told the cop outright that I didn't have a liscence and My friend was trashed and I was driving him home in his car. He looked me in the eye and told me I was a good friend, but I needed to get off his streets before another cop who was less understanding pulled me over. On my bike I push cars out of the way. It's MY road. If there isn't room for me on the side I take the whole lane and drivers can eat it. Don't feel pressured into getting a liscence if you don't feel comfortable driving. There are other options available.

Got my license at 19 but where I live there's not really much point as I live in a very densely populated area where public transport is good, owning a car is expensive (virtually nobody my age has one) and roads are congested. Still I did it because I wanted to, enjoy driving (always wanted to drive since I was a kid), and in case I move somewhere else where I might need it.

I got mine at 16. I failed the driving test the first time because I couldn't parallel park. -_-;

Some slow people are old.It is in my experience its better to be slow and safe. :D
