Sadly not near Newcastle, but pretty good in terms of being central to the rail network.

Well, sort of. I'm originally from Gloucestershire, but now live in California. Yes, the forum is very much dominated by Americans, aren't most internet forums? Nice to know there are a few on here from the Old Country!

I live about 5/6 hours away from London and I live on the seafront below it (by train) work that one out. 1 and half hours one way, 5/6 hours on the return
