It's rare for an Aspie to meet all the criteria. I've read the social ineptitude (caused by inability to read social cues) is sufficient for diagnosis. I myself am apparently NVLD, not AS...
I read some articles about NVLD, but I tend to be very visual, so it didn't really fit (although aren't Aspies supposed to be very visual too?). Although part of my being very visually orientated is probably due to my auditory processing problems.
Even if I did fulfil the criteria necessary for a diagnosis, many would argue that they do not affect me enough. Certainly my mum (whom I love very much, by the way) would tell me to stop being so stupid (even though she called me sick in the head when I was younger
).
EDIT: I have problems enough to make socialising and reading social cues, using social skills etc. difficult, but they're not 'non-existant' enough to be classed as Asperger's, I would have thought.

To explain what you put in bold, though it's unrelated to the topic of this thread:
I believe the kind of people that are least tolerated (let alone liked) are those who say the king is nude, and thus destroy the delicate balance of society, which is based on much denial and appearances. There's a wonderful scene in Titanic where a group are going the wrong way in the boat looking for the exit, and someone points it out to them, and their reaction is to demonize him. Some say the movie Titanic is an allegory to the life of Jesus.
So what you're trying to say is most people who have social problems are like that because they are oppositional?
