should i even try to be more social?

Every time I try to plan "get togethers" or anything like that the person goes, "Sorry I have plans that day" or people that I don't want to hang out with try to plan get togethers with me and I almost never return their calls.

sometimes doing something with someone - even though that person may not be at the top of your " want to spend time with list " if it is a social outing, may enable you to meet someone that you do enjoy spending time with or would like to get to know better.

Oh yeah, and another thing the people that want to hang out with me are COMPLETE social butterflies and for some reason they find me "worthy" being with despite the fact I am much more quiet then they are.... o.O

do you guys think joinig a fraternity may help? i posted in a thread titled "[poll] joining a frat". if you guys can respond there for my situation, i'd really appreciate that

this is ****in embarassing! whenever i show up to new clubs, people think i look like a FRESHMAN when i'm actually a senior! in fact, one time, this entire clique all said loudly how SHOCKED they were that i was a senior not a freshman. i feel defeated. im better off just being a loner who gets a 4.0 gpa....

Believe me, when you get older.. you are going to be glad of those young looks.. smile and think .. Haha !
