Friends of the Same or Opposite Sex?

i'm a girl and most of my friends are girls. when i was little, my friends were mostly boys. i just can't take it when guys hit on me, mostly because i'm a lesbian.

One of my closest friends is an NT girl I went to school with since the 1st grade.

Ironically, I never really interacted with her and became a close friend untill the 12th grade.

Doubly ironic, I think my AS played a part in becoming her friend.

I wouldn't say most of my friends are of the opposite sex, but I have some. It's more accepted today than it used to be.
