f I can come the Saturday 18th is fine.

The Sunday has one event but I might come after that if I am not too tired.

Great. How’s it going? Been a while :)

I think I'll pm some of the usual suspects, give them a nudge then take it from there.

Good idea to give them a nudge, I only know about this latest meet because someone who frequents another board told me.

Yes, been a while, been kept busy with all kinds of things, rarely get time to post here now.

Made myself go back out into the world. Its not good for our mental health to be on our own all of the time even though we may like it and choose it.

Will we meet in the National Theatre again?

There's another meetup in San Antonio on Sunday the 26th, and I may go to that, depending on the time of day.

Haven't been to one of these meets in quite a while, so I might try to get up there as well :)

Ok so far we have about 11 interested parties including myself

The meet is going to start in the Southbank as we have had a couple successful meets there before.

Anyone coming via Waterloo Station, I plan to meet here first at 1pm. The meeting place is in front of the Whistlestop shop near platform 1. It is easy to locate by following the numbered platforms all the way to the end. Shown here on this map:

The dotted line shows our escape route. We will be walking toward the National Theatre/Southbank at around 1.30pm, to meet up with anyone else (takes about 5-10 minutes)

Here is a general map of the area:

Anyone who is not meeting us at Waterloo can meet in then middle of this broken circle thing just in front of the national theatre square on the Thames walkway:

We won't hang around there for too long if it is cold. You will be able to text me if you are coming later. Then we plan to go in the foyer of the National Theatre (marked as 2 below). There is also in front of the book shop if you get lost. It should all be open as there is some stuff on. Sunday is a perfect day because there is usually little on, so the foyer is empty. I know there is one solo acoustic guitarist scheduled to play, although the concert pitch is on one end of a largish foyer. There is a tea shop/espresso bar near by for food and drink, and you can bring your own.

Hopefully this will suitable if not we have the Southbank centre foyer, and BFI.

Will be sitting there for a while, after which it is up to you what happens next. There is a lot around the South Bank:

Like British Film Institute, Southbank Centre, Haywood, Bernie Spain Gardens, OXO and Bargehouse galleries. We can walk down the Thames to the Tate Modern and lesser known Bankside gallery which has got a watercolour exhibition on. Alternatively we can cross the river like we have done in previous meets and sit in the park, or whatever.

I'm not sure coming by car is a good option, then I've never had to do it. Sunday is a good day to park though.

I never said anything about coming by car, I take the earlier navigation unit that does not need batteries or a satellite. The humble map.

I did say I may be able to come on sunday, but my schedule turned out to be too tight :(

With all this university applications and stuff I am unable to make it there on Sunday.

But keep me informed of future visits

Although I'm very new to all this I would have liked to have come. However, I'm going to check out the Hadrian exhibition tomorrow :D so won't be able to attend.
