I was speculating,
I hope that is true
I would rather believe that than my worst fears

she asked me the first time we met, if I was afraid of her
and I said no, because that was the truth,
but I have changed my mind

thats sad and to think her parents are Drs to 8O

I heard or read or listened to this really disgusting explanation/excuse/denial of justice that the Chinese trot out in defence of their regular

treading on of their citizens, with the heavy boot of
"Do what your told and Shut the f**k up!"

so, this is the anecdote that i heard about Chinas treatment of their youth:
"A child cries
the adults surround it
they laugh at her tears
"Your parents will hate you for your emotional state!"
Conform "

I paraphrased a bit

I remember she was scared of failing her uni and how her parents would have reacted to it.

I've been screwed over by doctors enough - don't worry.

Well - the bikes are more likely to kill me than a car is, so that's one upside. :D

I hope all my QLD acquaintances are fairing well in the lovely weather I just saw televised on the ABC news.

How does the slogan go? QLD: Beautiful one day, Holy Hell the next? 8O
