Hi
I'm Lucy and i am 20 years old i live in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. I have Autism, Dyspraxia and depression. I went to mainstream secondary school where i was bullied every week, i then went to a specalist college for people with learning difficulties and then this September i have started my local mainstream college. I find communicating, socialising, noise, change, making friends really difficult. I have about 3 friends. I get obsessions about a lot of things. I am into reading, television, art and computers.

29, Male, Wales (UK) although I don't really care about any of those things, but other people seem to perceive them as important criteria.

I like computing (programming and theoretical aspects), mathematics (although I'm very much a beginner), photography, drawing, reading (Gormenghast at the moment), video games (old and new) as well as the usual music and films (I tend towards more esoteric stuff but i'm not a snob).

If you share my interests or just want somebody to talk to about life etc. then contact me via whichever medium you prefer.

Hey everyone! It's always hard to start these posts but I'll do my best. :)

I'm Matt but everyone calls me Meredith, 24 from Greater London. I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome last month and have been doing my best to readjust and organise my life accordingly. My obsessions are music (both listening too and playing), the complete works of silent hill and computers. It would be cool to hear from some local people but anyone can drop me a pm!

I just watched 6 hours of stuff about human happiness, and it usually comes from relationships. I never bonded with either parent, and have always turned out to be mistaken when I thought I was part of a circle of friends. The last time I moved, twenty people came to a going away party, but nobody realized that I was moving away because nobody knew me. Anyway, I have one friend now, and we visit for about an hour per week. I'm in a small town in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, if anyone is interested. I'm semi-retired but still into sustainable technology, and exposing lies, especially big, established ones.

If you had no friends, why was a party thrown for you?

Hello, I recently moved to Auckland, I would like to meet other people in the area. I am a 32 year old male, I identify as an anglo-germanic kiwi.

I enjoy reading (philosophy, psychology, history, anthropology, poetry, prose, sci-fi, science, many academic or intellectual subjects, and now human-nature) spending time with decent people, movies/anime, learning new things, casual cricket, chess and go, music esp. tangerine-dream, . I've studied computing including simple programming, office admin, physics, self-studied transactional analysis. I prefer small groups of up to 8-9 people, though I can sometimes handle more.

I can get into an enthusiastic discussion about favorite subjects If I choose (as some aspies do) but would prefer simply to be with people and socialize. I've learned somewhat about body language, gestures, etc. And practiced using them, often I catch myself using them around aspies and forget they don't work then!

You are very welcome to PM me.

Yeah but I imagine people at least read the last few posted before they post theirs plus the ones that get posted after 'cause of getting subscribed to the thread.
