The people who really get on my nerves are people who are fake, hypocritical & don't seem to have a mind of their own. Like people who are shallow & obsessed with things like the MTV pop culture

They look down & ridicule me because I'm not a mindless zombie like them. I think people should have their own minds, opinions & be individuals who can think for themselves
THIS.
Although people who are individualistic can be elitist in a sense, too, and it irritates me when they assume that because they are different in some way, that they are superior. For example, I know a few people who are very successful, well educated and intelligent...yet they constantly berate others for having horrible grammar. Sure, those who are capable of using their linguistic abilities should do so, but what about those who genuinely can't, due to dyslexia or other learning disabilities?
And speaking of disabilities...I can't stand people who are intolerant of those with them...or those who simply cannot grasp the fact that human variety exists.

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.
This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.
My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
