No...I really don't like the fuss. Then people start asking me what I'm doing/did, which is usually nothing. Or they'll ask me what gifts I got, which I'm usually embarassed about, because it's stuff like action figures, Pokémon cards and stuff...so I just usually end up saying "money".

No one outside of my "closest" relatives give me a card and/or gifts, which I'm happy with. Sometimes I think it would be nice to do the whole "giving to friends" thing, but my friends don't do that, so never mind...

I always remind my close friends, as we usually have a get together (usually dinner) around then to celebrate. I avoid going to chain restaurants during the celebration...but if I have to, no one in my group ever mentions it's my birthday. I hate the stupid clapping and singing thing they do. It's pointless and embarrassing! Plus, you get a stupid little cupcake with a candle. Why would I have that when I can just treat myself to cheesecake? :P

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I avoid telling people.

I usually change the dates on Facebook so that people don't see it and try to give me birthday wishes or whatever, but last year, I forgot to change it, so come September 6th, my inbox was full of emails from people who had no clue what my birthday was. I got a single text asking why I had my FB birthday set to September when it was really in February. That felt kind of nice, I guess.
