I only use my cell phone for emergencies and to make the occasional phone call.

No, I rarely text anyone or get texts from anyone. I really only get texts from my parents, or functional texts (where is X, when is Y, etc.) from peers and roommates. I occasionally get social texts, but they rarely last very long.
