Kind of like tunnel vision? If so, then yes. And I'm definitely more susceptible to this when I've not eaten in a while, but my focus in general is much worse when I don't keep my caloric intake fairly regular.

Yes, kind of like tunnel vision. Interesting to hear that at least 1 other person has experienced this. You did mean it as triggered by eye contact, yes?

Only prolonged eye contact, and usually only when that person is the only other person in the room.

Yes! That fits my experience of it. It happened again recently, with the person being the only other in the room and conversing with me / talking to me for an hour. It starts to dissipate if I cease eye contact.

Interesting. I never thought much about that particular aspect of my eye-contact problems, but now that I know at least one other person experiences that similarly, I wonder if it's not some kind of overload mechanism that produces those particular symptoms when it's tripped. The only other times I get nausea or dizziness and tunnel vision of that ilk are when I'm near the verge of a meltdown or when I'm really emotionally disturbed about something, so that might make sense.

The more that I trust somebody, the more Eye-Contact, I'll give them.
