Dude if I was in Az I'd meet the legendary RB. I bet it will be the best meet ever, even if it is just you and your rocks.

Hello

i will be in costa coffee in the basement of waterstones at 2:15pm. Plan is for me to have lunch at the Scottish Steak House shortly afterwards then go to the pub opposite the coach exit of London Victoria until 5:45pm.

Im organising this as a part of a joint aspivilla/WP meet up. Previous meet ups organised by the former aspievillage and WP have gone very well in the past. i was hoping to link us together again.

Hope to see you there, PM me if you can meet.

Alexis

PS i need confirmation by midnight Oct 1st at the latest please.

Deadline past no WP members are attending the meet up this time. Please don't be offended if you turn up to this event and i seem unhappy with you, im poor with crowds of strangers without people i know at the same time there.

It is too short notice for a meet, based on experience.

Successful meets usually have a month notice. Most people don't drop everything unless they are impulsive and have no plans. Much better idea is to find out when people are available to do X then, fix a date. Only a fraction (usually around a third) will turn up. That is because people can be in two minds and their situation can change.

i wasn't sure i could manage it myself until the last moment. As it happens i was late and missed the meet up completely. Seems like only 1 person from another site was interested.

i needed impulsive autistics to attend since the less impulsive ones tend to take longer with making decisions about what to do.
i guess non of them read my post in time?

i hope to organise another meetup but in Bristol (UK) next time as i live nearer to there.

Alexis

Are there any meetups in the works for people from North Carolina?

Any Meet-Ups in the Southern Ontario / Near-Border New York Areas?

Would love to start organizing something.
