Hey,
I'm a 25 year old girl currently living in Palermo, Italy. Meeting other aspies here is probably not an option, well, at least not for a foreigner that I am...
Anyway, nice to be on this board

Wow, its a great place. Everyone is seeking friends. I think life without friends is like hell. Friends make our life more interesting and we can do and share anything with them. Making new friends is really great and exited thing. We get lots of care, support and love from them. I wish al god luck and happy friendship.
Bye

Perhaps we could have a thread for age 30 onwards and maybe more. I don't mean to be a divider but I personally have noticed issues the older and less 20-something I look.
When I was real young looking, everyone gave me more benefits of doubt. When you look older people expect more.

Seniors over 70 may need there own approach as well. I can't say I speak for them, but new dynamics come into play.
I've never liked these dynamics that splinter social relations, but the reality is they exist. :(

Hello, I'm Daniel. I'm 40 years old and have Asperger's.

I have lived independently since I was 23, but that has been achieved at the expense of my mental well-being and I do not lead a happy life. On the surface it doesn't look like there is a big problem with me, but inside I am strugling hard with life! I cannot talk about my real experience of life to most people, because they wouldn't understand or be interested. That makes me feel, as the saying goes, "lonely in a room full of people" most of the time, and I'm fed up with it. I have made a few friends who understand, but I don't talk to them very often. It would be nice to know more such people.

I would like to talk to caring, intelligent, honest people who understand Asperger's well and with whom I could talk openly.

My hobbies include walking in the countryside and cycling, and I am a logical thinker.

Please send me a private message if you are interested.

Hello everybody my name is Oliver 19 and I am from England in West Yorkshire, I am undiagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. I am unemployed and feeling a little low about life at the moment but I care about the world and would like to make a difference. My family are all NT's and they've gone through a lot bringing me up over the years. I have never met an Aspie in real life from what I'm aware but would love to meet one or a handful of them some day soon hopefully.

I have found life incredibly difficult in a social sense, it was been an uphill struggle 'fitting in' with all the normal people I've met in my life, wish I didn't have AS but nature is cruel and Im still learning my social cues and most people find me annoying and hard to deal with.

Hello everyone!!

I am a 19 year old female living in Oklahoma, USA. I am a neurotypical (or so the doctors tell me!). I think I have a lot of the same tendencies people with Aspergers have but I've never been diagnosed. I am planning on getting my doctorate in Psychiatry. I would like to specialize in Autism/Aspergers and maybe a general practice on the side. I love Psychology/Psychiatry. I'm always looking for new Psych books or texts. It's my passion. I live with my mom, dad, and older brother. My brother is schizo-affective.

The reason I am on this site is to get a better knowledge base of how individuals with Autism and Aspergers act, interact with others (or lack there of), and overall develop some friendships! I would enjoy becoming anyone and everyone's friend on here and learning about you all. I am willing to talk about anything and more importantly, I am willing to listen. So if anyone would like to be my friend, just PM me. Tell me about yourself, your day, your hobbies and interests, anything at all!

I can't wait to meet you!,
Abby

I'm female, nineteen and I read English at university. I'm interested in psychology, literature, philosophy, etc. I live in Oxford for half the year, and Wales for the other half. I like the movie Requiem for a Dream. I like music but I listen to too much of it. I should be writing an essay right now. :( Be glad to hear from anyone though.

Hi, I'm a 21-year-old female from the US. I've never been diagnosed, but I can relate to most of the problems people here seem to post about. I study psychology, and I also love music, animals, and vegan cooking. I will gladly befriend anyone on here (any age or gender), so send me a message if you're interested.

Hello, my name is Scott. I live in a rural area outside of Colorado Springs, CO. I am a loner, but wish I wasn't. I am unemployed but I am using my time to write some short stories and novels. I currently live with my mother and father. I hope I can move into my own place soon, but I still have a lot to learn before I can do that.

Name's Shane, I'm 25 and from Calgary, Canada. Work full-time and going to school to get my personal trainer diploma. I love movies, sci-fi/horror/fantasy books. I do a lot of writing and want to try my hand at acting. I have some acquaintances but no close friends so just looking to maybe make some connections!

Well I'm always on the lookout for friends, real life or online :D

I'm 28, female and in the UK. My interests vary - music, movies, books, anime and whatever random thing I'm obsessing over at the time, right now it's beauty products; specifically perfume

I'm self diagnosed but I am in the process of getting an official diagnosis.
