Yes. I think of it as a coping method.

Omfg I know what you mean! Often when I'm talking to myself, I'll address myself as a different person, or as a culmination of people. Split personality?

"Now we are going to tidy up so you can have room to do your art work without the clutter,it will make you feel better once we have done it".That is part of something i said to myself i have noticed i use we alot.I wonder if it's a bit like playing and part of my brain still has imature brain waves though i'm not sure.

I talk to myself a lot. Or rather I comment what I hear/see etc. Plus, I do it in English which is not my first language. So I try to keep it to myself. Wouldn't want people to think I'm crazy :P

I don't talk to myself out loud, but I do have entire conversations in my head. They're not usually to "myself", though, they're to some imaginary person that I've created in my head. I'll often argue with myself over a certain point, even when I know that both my arguments are flawed.

More often, though, I'll talk to other things. I have a tendency to talk to computers, especially if they frustrate me. Other things too, but mostly electronics. It's almost like I understand how the computers think, if that makes any sense.

I talk to myself all of the time. It helps me think better although people really get weirded out by it.
I used ot get accused all the time in school of being a serial killer or something.

I talk to myself constantly and a lot of the time I feel like I can't control it around other people and they think i'm weird. I have all these random thoughts that go through my head and I daydream a lot and I usually end up saying them, along with talking to myself in other languages.

I talk to myself all the time.

Sometimes it's an unpleasant experience.

man do i ever talk to myself... alot times its me working things out in my mind. but when the topic is something i'm passionate about or sensitive too those talking out loud sessions can lead to a full blown anger blow up. But things i talk to myself about are stories where i act every part, contemplating stuff basicly giving myself a lecture, sometimes i project a person i'm angry at as my audiance, or at times i use self talk to rehearse stuff like lines on what i'm gonna say.

Well hopefully i'll get that blue tooth ear piece so i can fake that i'm on the phone.
