I noticed that trying to add a few people, profile was set to private, it's the default profile settings when you first sign up for myspace.

I don't use the friendbot for my personal (sistersunshine) myspace, because that's my music site and I would prefer that as many as possible of those people be ones who are genuinely interested in my music. But for my business myspace pages I do use a bot and get a lot of people asking for information but never any orders. However, that's not the bot's fault as I know someone else who's quite successful using that method to sell printing. I'm just HORRIBLE on follow-through.

I was having a Wesley Willis throwback as I read that.

It doesn't bother me, because I like to find out about new music. That has really become one of the main purposes of myspace - for bands to find an audience.
