Just wanted to vent. Nothing big.

A few days ago, I posted a stupid bulletin on facebook saying I liked Kourtney Kardashian. Some guy responds, "You watching Keeping up with the Kardashians is the strangest news I've heard recently, even stranger than Michael Jackson's death." I found this kinda snide, but I only said "Hey, can't I at least try it?' and he responds, "Dude... you're a college graduate, you should be focused on your career, or going to graduate school."

Now mind you, this guy complains about people who judge others without having enough information. And what the Hell does liking Kourtney have to do with my career? So I get miffed by this and say, "Dude... you oughta mind your own business. You say you don't like people who judge your way of life. Don't be a hippocrite then."

And BAMPH! Next thing I know I'm off his list. God, I guess people just want it their own way all the time. I guess the name of the game is, I can criticize all I want, but if you react you're the bad guy.

That guy threw a tantrum because you called out his irony. See that as you won and he ran away from it and couldn't admit you were right.

hypocrites, but perhaps hippos as well.

It's Facebook, it doesn't mean anything important. Don't worry about it.

But you know what? That mentality carries over into all kinds of situations. So many people have that same childish mentality that says, "I wanna criticize and talk crap and judge, but I can't take it, so if you react at ALL, I'm gonna pout and scowl, and maybe even **** with you to get even."

People do very strange, nasty things on Facebook.

Welcome to human nature and thin skins. People who can't take it sure love to dish it out.

I would have ragged on you for watching that show too, but I wouldn't have been a drama queen when you told me to stuff it.
