Do people constantly tell you you are "batsh** crazy?&q
I get this a lot.
I used to have panic attacks a lot in class and was afraid to ask to be excused from class (especially when it happened during tests) so sometimes I would end up laughing manically in class while clutching my face and a few times I became near suicidally depressed in front of my classmates.
I was also very clumsy and would talk to myself a lot and sometimes I wrote stories that other people considered very weird. I write a lot of horror and comedy combined with erotica, but my sense of humor isn't something that a lot of people "get," and I already had a reputation for being a bit "off" so some of my more perversely tongue-in-cheek stories were interpreted as being completely serious. So I ended up developing a reputation that I didn't even find out about until after I graduated high school and every time I heard what people would say to me or overheard what they were saying to me, it was to the effect of "you know, that kid is really nice/cute/hot, but he's also really, really batshit insane."
I sort of took it as something to brag about in a way, but it also made me really uncomfortable.
Does anyone else get this? How do you react?
