I don't like sports, I don't own any video games or systems, I'm not smart, I'm barely into politics, religion, or current events, I don't have lots of people talking to me everyday on Myspace, Facebook, or wherever. so how can I make friends?

First of all, you can't say that you're not smart. You can always learn things. I used to think that I was the stupidest when it came to maths, once almost failing it, but then I started putting effort into it and ended up being top of the class.

As for the other things you've mentioned, I'm sure there are plenty of people here on WP as well as in real life who are like that. I'm sure you can find someone like - minded out there. All I can say is, keep looking. Myspace and Facebook are not the best places to look for friends, in my opinion.

You're still fairly young, so it's okay if you're feeling a little bit like you don't know who you are, which is how this sounds to me. Maybe you have decided too soon that you have no interests. Be open to trying new things, you might surprise yourself.

Oh, yeah, I like to watch TV (mostly sitcoms and cartoons), movies (mostly family-friendly ones), reading books of any kind, and a lot of computer/internet stuff.

Don't worry about not owning any video games. Even though I love video games, there are times when I feel ashamed of being a gamer. The video game community usually consist of fanboys who don't know what they're talking about, elitists who can't accept opinions that differ than theirs, and regular gamers who just play video games for fun and think that the fanboys and elitists take them WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.

As for politics, religion, and current events, I'm not into that stuff either.

Seconded. Nothing is worse than listening to XBL chat while trying to play a MP game like Modern Warfare 2. I feel like I lose brain cells every time I play listening to them. It's so embarrassing and I have no idea why.

I've found something in common between us two.

That's refreshing, hearing about aspies who aren't obsessive compulsive ****nut gamers.

For the OP, I'm positive there are people who would appreciate simplicity in a personality.

Well, you must be interested in something! Find people who enjoy some of the same things you do. Or try to get into something that you think others might relate to. Sometimes you may not have an interest in the big picture but might find an event/issue/area that you do have an interest in, that can be related to the bigger topic.
