Have any of you had the experience that it seems easier to make friends away from home? For example, like when you were away at summer camp for a week or to as a teenager and there was no one there that you knew previously or that new anyone from you hometown that knew you. Did you experience a bond that formed quickly and you felt closer to that person than anyfriends that you had back home like in school. The same could be said for those of you that went away college where no one else from your school or town attended. I'm have some of those experience and wondered if any of you have.

Yes it is easier for me. But then, I know it would be a very short friendship, and after a few months after not seeing them for a while, I'd drift away from them and become very distant. And so it really doesn't go anywhere. Since I like having friends that last a long time.
