Ever feel like you're royalty?

You know, those days, or moments, when it just feels like everyone wants to be near you? Maybe it was something profound you said, or something cool you did. Even a really funny joke! But just that something that makes you feel on top of the world! Ever feel that? How long does that usually last?

I don't often feel I get the time of day from others, but once in a while, I'll say or do something that really gets a reaction...a good reaction! It lifts me up for the rest of the day usually!

Yes, there have been times, but not recently. Still, it is really nice when they do happen!

One of my favorites was one of the simplest while I was with some people on a camping trip. Somebody needed a cork to plug a hole in the water pump everybody needed to use ... and I just happened to have one!

You would have thought somebody had just found an oasis in the desert.

not really but i walk in these places called, "the high places" above my house where there are a bunch of trails in the woods that make me feel like royalty. jesus christ!
