Who on WP likes to travel?

And if so, where do you like to travel?

I like traveling across the U.S., and would like to visit either Spain or Italy in the future.

I love to travel. I have been to Germany, Spain, Turkey, Malta, and America (I always feel like I've missed one when I make a list of places I've been to, but I think that's all).

I want to go to lots more places in the future, and I want to live abroad when I leave home.

My travel has been limited to the US but I'm still young and my husband is military so who knows where in the world I'll go next. But as far as US travel goes I've driven cross country 4 times so far. I'm hoping to see all 50 states eventually... so far I've been to-

California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, West Virgina, Georgia (Layovers in Atlanta- that Airport is HUGE), South Carolina, New York, and Massachusetts. 23 states... almost half the country. Out of those i've lived in 5 states, spent more than a week in 5 others... the other 13 I was just passing through.

Outside of the US I've been to parts of Canada in the Toronto area... if you ever go see Niagara falls go to the Canadian side it's so much prettier.

I've been to California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.

And Cozumel, Mexico.

I've been to a bunch of places. I was born near Buffalo, and now live in DC. I've been to NYC (so many from New York state have never been there), all over Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Chicago, and the rest of the Mid-Atlantic. I recently went to the San Francisco Bay Area and fell in love with it. I've been to a few places abroad, too, mostly in Europe. Oh, and I've visited my friends to the north in Canada more often than I count.

In a few months, I will live in London for a while, and will do some travelling from there. I also hope to visit all 50 states, especially in the Mid West and West Coast.

I hate the process of travelling itself (especially airports) but I love being in new places. Europe is the region that interests me the most, if I can while I'm still around here I want to visit Russia, maybe visit Italy and Spain again. If I had enough money and time, I'd take a Portugal-Russia trip.

I wanted to spend christmas this year with family in Germany, but the flights in December are exorbitantly expensive :(. I still want to go away for christmas (seeing all my family is just too much like hard work), so my boyfriend and I are considering a cruise in the Pacific Islands.

I enjoy going places and seeing things, but my travels have been limited to the US and Canada. Overseas is expensive and time-consuming to the point that I can't do it and work a regular job.

How well do you all usually do on vacations?

Pretty well, I'd say. I've travelled a few times on my own (Switzerland, France, England) and it's very liberating to feel that you can do exactly as you please, when you please, without opposition, compromise or having to explain or justify anything to anyone. I've travelled with relatives, which is also pretty good as we have very similar interests, and I've done it with friends, which has been hit-or-miss: some have gone very well, some didn't, though I'm still friends with that person. I think the key thing is to be interested in doing similar things and to be reasonable: to be able to negotiate things like 'I'll go see X, you go see Y, let's meet up for dinner' when you don't agree, that sort of thing.

That sounds like an excellent plan.

I live in Belgium. I have traveled to Holland, France, England, Germany, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungaria and Poland and passed a few more countries. I was in Poland for a 3 month internship.

I hope to visit East-Asia and North-America when my budget allows me to.
