My local Autism Department (I cant think of the right word/ title for it but basically the local part of the health service that diagnoses people and provides services for those with Asperger's) organises a meetup for people with Asperger's and I'm considering going but I'm quite anxious about going (it's only three people of a similar age, but I think it'd be quite awkward and uncomfortable and the adult who organises it would be there which would make me have a hard time talking honestly and comfortably).

So basically, I'm wondering if anyone has ever been to one and if it's worth going to.

I have never been to something like this, but i would imagine that the other people there felt/feel the same way at some point. I say just go once or twice and if it dose not work out then don't go again.
