Would anyone in the Washington, DC area like to go to a movie, go out for pizza, see an exhibit, etc. I am interested in meeting new people and possibly making friends. If you are interested in making new friends or know someone who might be, I would enjoy hearing from you! PM me if you are interested and we could pick something fun to do. :flower:

there is a support group that meets once a month called "Asperger's Adults of Greater Washington (aagw)" I went once and it was so overwhelming, I never went back. I feel when I'm around other people on the spectrum, my social anxiety is magnified by 100 times. That's not true for everyone though. I do know that the group does have some other events besides the monthly meetings also.

A support group is not what I am proposing at all, not another AAGW, this would be strictly an activity group, no speakers, no agenda, just fun. This won't be a let's chat sort of group, but rather a "that looks interesting, would love to go, wish I had someone to go with" sort of group where members come up with ideas. No sitting around and chatting, but out and doing. I know about AAGW, they have a couple of things a year outside of the meetings, I propose something more often. :)

When and where do you meet? I might like to join your group.
