He led from the heart. He said, 'If you care, they're care. If you trust, they'll trust.'

This was a show on NFL Network, 'The Top Ten Most Inspirational Coaches of All Time.' And, no, I didn't see who was number one! Didn't need to, and isn't number two plenty good enough ?
And importantly, this is where I tell myself: I DO NOT NEED TO EXCEL. I am plenty good enough just as I am. I don't need to imitate Dick Vermeil's style, just like I don't need to imitate anyone else's style.
It's a matter of being open to caring and let it come when it comes. And being open to trusting and letting it come when it comes. It's not a matter of conjuring it up. It is almost a matter of under-trying.
