Overdramatic friends

I was excited to see my friend tonight, but she didn't want to go to see this band anymore because someone she doesn't like is going.

I'd never not go somewhere if someone I didn't like was going. Maybe if they were planning on doing something nasty to me.

I just don't get why my NT friend makes such a big deal about people like that. Just ignore them and have a few drinks with me. She's not seen me in years.

I'm going despite the noise and the crowd and the break from my usual routine.

I never got it either.

My sister has "friends" who she doesn't like. Try to figure that one out.

Yeah people are over dramatic. But an old friend was having a birthday do a few years ago and I had to know if one girl was going who was nasty to me, she said yes so I didn't go. Although I did go to one 2 years later and she was there, but ignored the girl and still had fun.
So I can see where your friend was coming from with not wanting to see a certain person if they've had a particularly bad confrontation recently. Aren't you planning to go and see a different band with her or go somewhere else?

I hated one of my friends once, she was controlling to me and I was stuck with her. I started getting snappy towards her eventually.
But she's alright with me now, even though I no longer have feelings of strong friendship, I'm just indifferent to her now and when I see her I see her because I want to talk to someone and not be alone all weekend.

No it isn't like that. Someone could not notice her and she would think she was being ignored. Like once she saw a singer of a band she knew, said hi and the guy didn't see her and the next day she's calling him nasty names.

She was at the show though, but she's moving away so I won't get to see her again.

Jesus christ this is happening to me right now... my girlfreind has fell out with another freind of mine and will not speak or go near each other it's really frustrating when im with her and she ups and leaves because the freind is there :x
