Just that! I think that for us Aspies, no matter how long we go without friends or have difficulties with friends, I know that our day will come where we finally grasp the social world tightly and finally learn how to succeed within it.

So try and keep on smiling, fellow Aspies! Our day will come, our day will come, our day will come! XD

Oh thank God, I thought this was going to be another 'Aspie Supremacy' thread!

I agree with you BeauZa, with enough work it is possible to learn most social mannerisms. And hopefully in time they will feel more natural too.

well said!

I notice a lot of people on here have it so rough, and I feel for them all, as that's just how I was up until a few years ago, when I was diagnosed at the age of 38.

I was considered naughty and insolent at school, lost lots of friends and jobs, but now that I know it's not my fault, I feel free and happy.

I have researched and practice the Law of Attraction whenever I can, and would highly recommend it to anyone. It shows you how you can achieve anything by having the right mindset. And to focus on what you do have and not feel bad about what you don't have.

I don't want to preach, but I read 'The Secret' while my family was going through a living hell - and it changed my perspective forever. A year later, I started to have resentful feelings again, so I reread it and bought the DVD. It reminded me that by feeling negative I was still using the Law of Attraction but in exactly the wrong way!

Haha, no worries! Actually, I used to think a bit like that; I imagined that we would destroy our oppressors from the backs of dragons... and that does still sound pretty neat. :) But thank you! Agreers, I has them! XD

Neat! I'm really glad that everything's working out for you. Here's some primo evidence for what I've been saying! Our day will come...
Is this Law of Attraction thing a website or can it be read about online? Any chance of a link please? :)

Does that mean you always have something new waiting for you every day?
