The title says it all. How many people that you know are either diagnosed Aspies/Auties, self-diagnosed, or that you suspect may be Aspie?

Myself I have about three people. My best friend back in Clarksville, TN is diagnosed. Also, there's this group of 11 or so people that I hang out with during break at the university, one of them is diagnosed and another is self-diagnosed.
Seeing as our group's main activities are watching anime and playing video/tabletop/LARP games, it really doesn't surprise me much. Also the mother of the diagnosed Aspie is one of the leading experts on autism in the state of Wyoming.

So how many do you know?

My stepbrother has AS. His presentation is more obvious than mine, I suppress my tendencies, so no one is aware that I too have AS.

My husband, who is Dx. Other than that just some people I suspect, like my dad. One of my husband's friends is probably too but I haven't asked. It seems rude and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme. Also a kid I used to know at the elementary school I worked at.

I suspect 5 or 6 people I know of having AS. Mostly in the family.

Diagnosed - 0

One fem cousin DXd...a niece Dxd ADHD and PDD-NOS, whom I feel is likely AS...two guys I used to work with I'm pretty sure about, although one is now deceased...

I remember one kid I went to Junior High with who looking back, seems likely (I remember the hand-flapping and the social ineptitude that was far worse than even mine)...and a good friend I was quite close to for several years who I now suspect might be hovering somewhere between AS and Schizotypal, but is ultimately higher functioning than me...

I know of one besides myself, but I don't really know her.

The other people that I know have AS are all in the AANE Rhode Island Chapter. Outside of that I don't know anyone though I strongly suspect someone I knew in college who had it. But this was before it was formally diagnosed.

I'd say around 50. This is because I'm a volunteer teacher who teaches computer skills to students on the spectrum as well as being involved in the local autism community.

One, but he is undiagnosed and he suspects himself to have it. What is funny is that he is a real computer geek.

my nephew is diagnosed. i suspect a handful of friends / acquaintances i have had over the years, and several guys i have dated. one i am fairly positive about. none of these people are diagnosed, that i know of. most are in their thirties, so it would make sense they would be undiagnosed or even unaware.

I suspect my best friend and one time roommate in college has it. He isn't diagnosed, but it just seems really really obvious he's got something going on.

His thing is... he will talk to random people. Approaching people isn't a difficulty. But he incessantly rambles about his strong subject interests. Tends to dominate conversations.

It's the opposite of me, where approaching people and making initial contacts are the major issues.

A few of my younger cousins are diagnosed though, or are strongly suspected to have it.

I have a very good female friend who is aspie.

I know a couple of others who have regularly gone to aspie meet-ups.

There may be others that I didn't know where diagnosed aspie.
