I have to go to an industry event (Video Game Industry) next week and it's in New York City and I am absolutely terrified. I'd cancel but at my age this is a great career opportunity. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, New York and the 3DS, that sounds freakin' awesome 8). But yeah, it would be very scary, what with it being the most populated city on Earth and a lot going on. Are you going alone / with parents / someone else :?:

You mean in the US :) New York is the 14th most populous city on Earth.

It's a convention about video games. The big city is just the location. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
