I know I do. I am finally snapping out of that phase right now.
It has always been my environment, but at this young age, it isn't always the best thing to do. But then I know others are at home alot.

Well I feel that I spent a little more than I needed. I probably didn't spend enough time outside the house and even walk around the neighborhood or park. They were there, I didn't take advantage. I feel this may have been an unhealthy thing.

I can give advice with experience. If you stay at home and feel comfortable there, then stay. If you want to leave, leave. If you want to spend time away from the home. The yes go, excercise, go on a trip, or something. If it is making you feel down and wearing you out, then go out and workout, even if you say you "can't". No misery, I made that mistake at a young age. Though I feel that many youngsters feel miserable anyways. Regardless of their lifestyle.

My only mistake was dwelling too much on things at home that I needed to get out and workout more. That would've relieved a lot of stress in me. But I didn't and now I feel it wasted time and caused some scars. This is where being at home too much can drive people nuts.

I could've worked but that is just another wasted rant.

I do. I go out once a week to a Mood Management course and that's it, heh. When that's over, I don't know what I will do.
If I lived alone I would probably go out more, as a result of having to buy groceries, pay bills, etc. But I live with parents so I don't have to do any of that. Guess I just don't have a real reason for going out anywhere.

Guilty.
There's really not anywhere to go in the suburbs though... just endless identical streets every way you turn.

I have no real reason to go anywhere myself. I blame the internet since I became addicted to it. But that was my decision. Kind of like an alcoholic or drug abuser. No I want to finally snap that also.

Yes I too had no desire to do anything myself. Nor to go anywhere, that is why I never learned how to drive. I didn't work either, that and the fears of negativity. But then I realized that is how life ends up at times and I have to comfront it. It takes time, I have to comfront negativity even when I am not anywhere. I am comfronting dwelling on useless garbage and fearing an anti-social situation. I can't control society and have to let go.

This can be so unhealthy for some of us. I feel I develeoped an unhealthy habit and it needs to stop. I also feel I

I do. I just don't have many reasons to go out. My mom, who doesn't know I'm (probably) an aspie, used to try to talk me into going out. It was pretty stressful for me because I sort of felt I was "wrong" because I wasn't that sociable. I didn't try to change because I knew that it's just the way I am, but it was still hard until I found out about Asperger's. Then I knew I wasn't alone.

I'm kind of in the same boat. The problem is there isn't really that much to actually do. I should probably see if I can find a gaming group (as in the D&D sort).

There's not much to do around here that doesn't involve drinking.

I'm always at home after work hours. When I get home from work I usually grab a drink and head straight for my computer to use the net. Ever since I got broadband internet last year I have used it non-stop. Call me an internet addict. Maybe I should change back to dial-up so that I get pissed with the slowness of the net and use it less.

I do but it's not really my fault since I don't have a job nor do I think I can handle one. Also spending months at home not doing anything isn't really great.

I rarely go far out of the house unless I need to, otherwise I'll stay inside with the kids or in the backyard.

I do but I wish I didn't--it's dull here. But for the most part, I have nowhere to go at this point. I will after summer, when I start college, but right now I have no school. It really kinda stinks. I need to learn to drive.

I spend a lot of time at home, But I don't think it's too much, If I went out anymore, I would get stressed and tired.

I go out on occasions ... to eat, to buy something, etc... I sometimes get spontaneous excitement surges involving my special interests, and then I may go out and buy something. I've been known to drive quite long distances on a few occasions because of it. I don't go out on social occasions, unless they are due to family reasons.

I spend more time in the house than I do going out. I also like driving at night, because it's peaceful and there is hardly anyone else on the road. I do some shopping at night, once in a while.

I enjoy being at home, partly because I have a nice house with virtually everything I need in it. I go out and do things and activities, but I'm not going to deny myself the right to enjoy a nice day at home enjoying my life :D .

I stay home a lot more time than other people of my age do.

I enjoy staying home and dont feel the need to go out more than i do, but i do worry about my self; Time passes and i achieve nothing, just sitting infront of the PC without any purpose. I really should try to force myself to be more active, start exercising, make same friends etc

Thank god I am smoker, so at least i am taking a 5min walk once a day to buy cigs lol.

I realized I too spend too much time on the internet since I received broadband. Now I am stuck in a rut where I spend too much time on the same pages. This is why I realized I needed away from the net.

I feel if I can move and walk around the house with enough of a pace, I can relieve some of the stress and pressure inside of me. If I can stay involved and do things different around the house, then I realize that I am comforting myself. But only if I enjoy the practice.
