So I was at a gay youth group and one guy started spining around my chair with his rolling chair burpoing in my ear. I didn't know how to respond. I found it quite gross but I didn't know how to politely tell him to stop. I've never had this happen before. He has ADHD and he drank three or four cans of soda so I don't know if he could control himself. How could I have politely told him to stop without insulting him?

Insult him. It is the least he deserves for uncouth behavior.

When I was in high school there was a kid in my special education classes who had this idiot run up to him everyday and yell in his ear. One day the idiot tried it only to have his victim turn his head and spit into his mouth as he was about to scream. Everyone in the hallway stood there in absolute shock that he did that, A teacher ran up grabbed the spitter by the arm rushing him to the principles office but he never took the screamer to the office when he saw the kid yell in the spitters ear almost everyday. I love watching bullies get humilated. Until the end of when people saw the screamer they would yell he spits... you swallow sort of like how they do for hockey when they yell he shoots...and he scores.

Was it literally a gay youthgroup? or just stupid?

Yeah you should just have slapped him. It's self defense.

This is almost always what happens when a victim retaliates against bullying. The victim should fight any punishment he receives including using embarassing comment about the school to the press or the Internet. The school and the teacher deserve any reprocussion for allowing the bully to continue his abuse while punishing the victim.

This kind of thing makes me violent. I see it as a personal attack.

As for the above... at least the kid being bullied retaliated. They'd be making fun of him for getting his mouth spit in whether he retaliated or not.

It was literally a gay youth group. As in it was full of gay, lesbian, and transgendered teens. I didn't want to insult him because he seems like a nice guy. He just got a bit hyperactive after the soda. As I said, he had ADHD and I don't know if he could control himself after three or four sodas. Besides, he was an aspie too so I don't know if he knew what he was doing was inappropriate. I've done some things that people think are obviously rude without knowing it was rude. I don't think he meant any harm. I just didn't know how to tell him to stop that without hurting his feelings or embarrassing him

What's wrong with embarassing him? That's how people learn.

I would have punched him, but I must warn you that punching is not appropriate behaviour.

That's a hilarious story I can't believe he just spat in his mouth. The guy deserved a medal not punishment.

I wouldn't punch him, I'd just put my fist out there and let him run his face into it.
