Asking for three kind of separate but related areas.
1. Attractiveness - How do you determine your own physical and emotional attractiveness?
2. Authority- How do you tell if people respect you?
3. Friendship - How do you tell if someone's really a friend?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Reading people's meanings and intentions has never been a strong suit.

1. Both are subjective.
2. You can't read people's minds, so you can never truly know. But can't you tell when you're being disrespected?
3. We're all wondering that in life. There's only a general concept, and you might have to define that for yourself.
Everyone is attracted to different things. So its subjective. Agree with above post really.
Authority.....same you either have it, or you dont, or someone has it over you, have you a scenario in mind?
As for friendship.....this is tricky. People can appear to be your friends, then really hurt you, the people who seem to be on the edge of your circle come and pick you up when your world comes to an end. Friends are the people you can rely on, and you only come to know them by the truth, by experience.
Authority I have no time for myself, Attractiveness is a lovely thing, but it waxes and wanes. What appears beautiful one moment can appear dreadful when they've cheated on you or they are getting drunk because they cant cope with your lack of empathy. Subjectivity. Always
