Most of my friends are either Aspie, bipolar, a loner, or nerdy in some ways. I always like to chat with them and we always have a good connection. When its not my friends, if its someone outside, I usually wave and say hi to them and that's it. Sometimes I'll make small talk and when I can't think of anything else to say, I just stand or sit there and leave after they leave. I'm usually nervous when in conversations in fear that I might say the wrong thing, and feel embarrassed if they think I'm weird or crazy. I'm most worried about them losing interest in me which might imply that I'm not a very fun guy or I'm too weird to be around with. Anybody gone through this, or is it just me :?:

I felt the same way, in high school. I was always afraid to have conversations, with my peers, because I was always afraid that they would pull away, like they always did.
