Trying to connect

I went to church yesterday and I happened to see a family who had moved away quite a while ago due to job relocation. I had never connected with this family and I often felt shut out by the wife and mother of the family, while her husband used to act intimidating. So, I went up to say hello and see how they were doing yesterday since I hadn't seen them in a while and she still acted as if I didn't exist and shut me out of the conversation even though I made an effort to reach out and get to know her.

There's allot of people like that where I go to church.

I get shut out of conversations, by typical people, all the time.
