Like, I think I'm doing okay outside university, I generally have a big night out with friends once a week... maybe a club, bar, party, etc... how many times a week would you say you're out with people you know in a non work/school setting?

I don't think there's a prerequisite for the amount of socializing anyone can do. It's all a matter of just how badly you need the company of others at the time.

I've joined this group for adults with Aspergers and I see them once every other Wednesday, if I'm in the mood to chat about it. And I recently joined a paranormal group and I'm trying to get in to more investigations with them before I leave for Salem.

For what I need I'd say I socialize fairly enough.

Aside from my husband and children, who I live with....

Yesterday I went to my mother's house and had a nice visit with her. About a month ago, my father and his wife came for a visit, and we talked for a few hours. I see each of them about every six weeks or so.

Back in December, I met my best friend for coffee.

The last time I had a meal with a "friend of the family" was about two years ago, but we had to drive six hours to get there.

In 1998 and 1999 I used to hang out with a small group of 2 moms and 1 dad, at the playground with our toddlers.

The last time I went out with some friends for a meal and drinks, or rented a movie with friends and just had a fun evening of being goofy and quoting Monty Python at each other was in 1995.

In other words, not all that often.

I hang out with friends on a daily basis, but it's kind of a necessity for me. Most of the rest of my time is spent either asleep or in solitude, and I don't (usually) come in contact with anyone else during these 16 hours or so a day. I used to go for days without running into much of anyone. Then I realized that even an aspie can't live in a black hole and reconnected with my old social web. Haven't let go since.

I don't really have any offline friends anymore. They've all moved on to other things and places. So the answer is, effectively never.

I'd say I have gone down from 30 hours a week of real-life socialization to about three hours a week of very routine, unoriginal real-life socialization in the past month.

I've been going out more and more. Trying new things and topics socially to see what works and what doesn't (per example, only buy a girl a drink if she looks interested, and a good way of integrating yourself in a smallish group of people at a bar or club is to buy everyone drinks.) It ends up being roughly 12-15ish hours a week, only because doing it on a night before I have to go to work can be really crappy when you wake up the next day.

Not very. I really only socialize when I'm at school, with a my small circle of friends. Or if those same friends invite me somewhere, which doesn't happen very often.
Other than that, I really do not like people, and I make it a point to actively avoid dealing with them whenever possible.
I would sooner just chill at home than go out into society and deal with unnecessary BS from a bunch of shallow, idiotic & hive-minded drones.

Around 0.1 times per week. Most social contact I have isn't specifically about socializing. I think I should have more sometimes, but people confuse me terribly.

In-person socialisation: around once a month, sometimes more if my friends really, really want to see me. I'd prefer to socialise less.

In school everyday, I have my own group of friends.
Out of school not much at all, maybe once/twice a month? Last time I socialised was when I went shopping with my friend on saturday, and before then I can't remember maybe early april. Also I only seem to see the same 2 people outside of school. My social life sucks
