Talking with women

I'd like to think my social skills are okay. I am good with talking with my fella guys and can keep a conversations for a fairly long period of time. I've asked my friends if they think im talkative, and i have had a mixed response. So even though i think im slightly below average when it comes to talking, im probably quite a bit higher than aspies that ive met, and heard from on here.

However, my big problem is with women. I mean im not looking for a relationship or anything like that, but i have real trouble continuing a conversation with women for more than a two minutes. It probably doesn't help that my biggest interests are in sports etc, which most women dont follow.

So i dont have a great deal in common with most women, but i was just wandering what tips you people have. And do any of you also have any problems talking with the opposite sex, but no problems talking with your own?

I general prefer to be spoken to much the same as you would a man.

Yep. It's that simple.

Sports knowledge should be a plus. I notice people in general like some sport, and it's usually good for common ground.

I prefer to talk to men.
Women are too bitchy.
Men are simpler. I like it.

I'd rather talk to men than talk to women. I find that men are easier to talk to and understand.

I'm about the same with men and women (inept), but it really just depends on the subject, if its anything to do with computer's or World of Warcraft i can carry on a conversation (if by conversation you mean jabbering on and on) for an hour or more, but if it's something like... say the inner workings of a car or sports i am completely silent and my mind is just wondering while the other person is talking.
