This question may seem weird but on facebook they have a bio section and I wanted to know what information would be appropriate to put in there and what information would be so-so to add/omit and what information would be best to leave out of the bio?

(so in other words, what's best, half & half, and not good)

Thanks,
Andy.

You dont need to have a bio, I think a lot of people dont. Id say just say some basic things about yourself but dont put anything too personal there. Anything your ok with a vast circle of people knowing.

Bios are hard. I put a few random facts about me, nothing very personal. I think you should either do the same or write a short blurb about yourself - where you're from, what you like to do, what your personality is like. If you can't think of anything, just leave it blank. A lot of people don't have a bio; it won't be frowned upon.

Most people leave them blank or use one-liners. Don't write anything cringeworthy or detailed.
