I was going to put this in the meetup thread but it doesn't get enough traffic and is worldwide.

I'm not ready just yet but I would like to arrange an informal meet up sometime in Manchester. I find the idea of joining an AS / autism group rather daunting and would prefer to have coffee with a handful of Manchester (or nearby) people from here.

I was thinking about Salford Quays on a Sunday lunchtime but not just yet. If anyone wishes to be the first to arrange something then that's fine by me. It will be nice to put faces to names. Any thoughts?

Well, I have to be in Bradford for 7pm so, yes, that is possible. I drive so it doesn't have to be Salford Quays. PM me if you're up for that

I had an appointment (a gastric band fill) so I was very near our meeting spot that day in any case.

Right on the Merseyside-Lancashire border I see.

I'm occasionally in Ormskirk. I'll let you know next time I'll be around that area.
