My past college experience if you guys remember post long ago didn't go so well. On a friend level I had this guy named "Tim" when I vented to him he suggested violence I agreed as a joke and me/him laughed it off THEN he told the school/professor and I was suspended a year. :-( A few students I was getting to know and MIGHT have become friends if the suspension hadn't had happen. Also I heard some guys chatting about videogames I butted in "Hey I like Mario" and got weird stares. Guess you shouldn't butt into a conversation even IF it's about a special interest you have. (one of mine is videogames BTW).

Also I saw professors as friends but ended up upsetting HER by going to her office DAILY with questions. I STILL interact with professors but plan to (if I can) e-mail ahead of time "Hey got time tomorrow wanted to stop by and chat." So the teacher KNOWS I'm coming. My current professors seem nice and don't mind my questioning 2 (out of the 3) said "Sure stop on in and chat!" a 3rd gave me no response but she seemed nice enough so we'll see with her. Also another special interest is College work. Couple of examples.

1) 2 week Christmas break did a paper before classes resumed in January!

2) assignment due 1 month did it first day of class.

3) nearly half way through Moby Dick (it was getting good) so kept reading from 10:30AM-2:30AM. (and did ALL the work associated with that assignment.)

4) paper due April did it in February.

#1 got me evil stares from the class like they wanted to kill me. #3 a student said "We are not up to that point don't spoil it." So I couldn't engage in the class discussion much since I had already finished the book.

I'd think IF/WHEN possible turn stuff in to the teacher in private but I have speeches planned already for speech class. I'd hate to be a show off and be one of the first to give a speech!! ! I think ahead on these things! 2 professors have mention me doing a dissertation topic (my idea was for a dissertation NOT a short essay) and another said I should do research now. Both flattering. :-) It is sad though I think ahead of these NTs who are all about socializing and Spring Break etc. Instead of being ENGAGED in the course material.

Sure a Psychology Club sounds cool but I take the bus so I can't be on campus that long so that's out of the question. My worry is the dreaded question "Wow you did great how did you come up with that/do that?" I don't want to give a rude/mean response how do I answer that question if I'm asked it?

Thanks for all the help WP. :-)
