I met this girl in English class and she was hopeless at English grammar. She asked me to help her as she wants to travel in the future, so I offered to coach her on grammar 101. But I have never "coached" anyone before. Any advice?

Since you're nervous about it; lighten it up by meeting her in an interesting public place such as a park, botanical garden or open air market. Walking around and discussing an interesting environment would be less pressured than a more static setting, both sitting in a room.

Ask her to give her the grammar 101 program and prepare the lessons up front. That's what teachers do. Then you can find how she is doing and see what else she needs help with, and work on that. I am sure you will do great! Keep us posted.
