(Long time reader, first time poster (last time I tried to make an account, it didn't work))
Hi,
I finally made an account to reply as
1) I am from Nova Scotia (and you looked lonely for replies) (but am not currently there, am in Ontario)
and (the major impetus for posting)
2) I know what's going on in that picture (in the last post).
That's most likely a prefab home, possibly from Prestige homes in NB (who are major players in the field). My family got one in NS (Cumberland county) approx. 15 years ago. What they do is build a home in their factory and bring it in 2 separate pieces along the highway. Then they use a crane and various pulleys to drop it onto the foundation, fasten it on, and it's good to go. This supposedly helps make the house construction process quicker and better, because there isn't the factor of the elements (weather) during construction. There may be issues along the house seam, however.
Edit: under closer inspection, that may just be a trailer. It sort of looks like half a prefab home, though (and gave a good excuse to clear the first post hurdle).
