I have come to the conclusion that anxiety is the biggest reason I have difficulty thinking about things to say during a conversation.

After I have a conversation with someone, afterwards I will replay it in my mind and think of things I should have said.

I usually can think really fast what I should have said.

I am almost certain that anxiety plays a role in preventing me from thinking quickly.

Does anyone have any advice how to get rid of this anxiety?

Same problem. Hmm.. well at a certain point if you want to get anything done you have to stop thinking about what the other person might think of you and take a risk and just be yourself, say what you wantto say (within reason). They'll get to know you sooner or later so might as well put your real self out there..Maybe try it out for five minutes and if they don't react well try it again at a later time or look at it as maybe that you're just not on the same wavelength.

Easy to say and hard to do of course.
