Meet-up London Sat 13th Aug The Coronet Weatherspoons, Holloway Rd at 12 noon

The nearest tube is Holloway Road on the Piccadilly line.

If you buy a zone 1-6 card you wont need another ticket if we move on somewhere else.


So you can recognize me I will have a blue striped picnic blanket like this

If it is very busy (eg foot ball is on) I will wait outside, otherwise I shall wait at a table near the entrance.

I won't be able to make it.

That weekend is MAD SCIENCE event at Kew Bridge Steam Musieum It will cost to get in but I will be about there both days so if anyone wants somthing to do Sunday PM me :)

yes I thought you didnt sound too keen on the lido and thought you might prefer weatherspoons as you had sounded positive toward it previously, hopefully it will be fun.

It is part of The Great Steampunk Exhibition that runs until the end of August.

The Mad Science event sounds good I belive a Tesla Coil and a Jacobs Ladder are on display that weekend.

I may be there - I'll see if I'm busy that day (I have a few gay pride's and country shows to attend around that time, so I dunno if it's at that date) and if my parents will be willing to transport me (obviously, I can't drive, and have no money for the train *facedesk*).

I've never attended such meetups and am curious - what are they like?
