I posted this in the meet up thread but I got no response. From the looks of it, a lot of the people don't live in the US. But yeah, are there any cool aspies that live in LA that would want to meet up? I could use more friends :)

Yeah, LA people. I wouldn't meet up with people on the Internet. I just felt like putting it out there.

I'm hosting a Meetup at my office in Santa Monica for young adults with social challenges. This site won't let me post a link, but if you are interested, you can check it out at the Meetup site for Los Angeles Social Thinking.

I'm a social cognitive specialist, and I'm hosting this event to see about finding some good, well-matched peers for some clients I have on my waiting list who want to work with me on their social thinking in a small group. But if some people want to come and just meet some like-minded Aspies/auties and have a nice time, that's a win too!

As with any Meetup, please remember to proceed carefully and let someone who cares about you know where you are going. Family members are welcome to attend, but they won't be allowed to talk. :P
