Nervous Laughter around people I don't know well.

Sometimes when I'm around people I don't know I can't stop laughing because I'm so nervous. Of course, since I have the voice of a stoner DUDE, everyone always thinks I'm high. I don't do drugs, I never have, never will. No one believes me though. How do I stop this from happening?

Well with me I randomly laugh in conversation even with people I know, it kinda bothers me because I don't seem to have any control and it can make things awkward.

My band thinks I'm I'm a whack job because I'll randomly burst out laughing for no reason (we might not even be talking at the time, just trying out riffs for a new song) and won't stop for 5 or ten minutes.

But it doesn't happen around strangers. Around strangers I tend to have a very awkward smile that makes me look like some kind of creeper.
