I thought this would be an interesting informal survey. Post an estimate of your emotional age and/or relate that to your biological age.

My real age is 23, but I feel like I'm about 12. I act my age when I need to (for school and work) but in my free time theirs definitely a retrograde. I am absolutely fascinated by magnet toys and goopy things like fidget toys, and I like to revisit the two special interests I had as a kid (animals and space exploration). Anyway, my mental maturation definitely stopped pre-puberty.

I am 46 and emotionally I feel 17-20 years old-very immature-I do not feel my age at all.

My emotional age is about 10 in some aspects, 16 in others (my real age) and 25 in a few.

I'm 14 and feel like some precocious 9 year old... though sometimes I feel like a 50 year old :L I never feel like my age.

My emotional age is around 12. I pride myself on letting my inner child run rampant. I feel like a female Peter Pan because I don't ever want to "grow up".

Examples of my childlike behaviors: I become excited over small things such as going for long car rides and cooking with my dad, I sleep with a teddy bear, I have imaginary friends, I want to play with dolls very badly, I watch cartoons, and I tend to choose clothing which would be better suited for someone younger than myself.

OMG I dont play with dolls but I have stuffed animals around-mostly penguins and I still watch cartoons and wear stuff that I may not be in the target demographic-but I like it and it looks nice.

I would say about 12, but I've seen the way 12 year olds act, I'm nothing like that. Maybe 14-15 is a better answer. Then again I've been told I'm very much like Jamie Hyneman, and he's an old fart.

Mine is random; Most of the time I feel 50+ (at least that's what I think), I just want to retire from life and be boring (even though really I haven't even started!!) Other times I feel about 10, really angry at how everyone my age is doing "grown-up" things (as if, but you know what I mean, smoking, partying, drinking etc.), I can't face the future and I absolutely pine for my childhood TV programs and toys :D

God I miss the 90's - 00's. I'm gonna go watch Spongebob and play with my Legos!!

My real age is 18, but I feel like I am somewhere from 14-16, just barely trying to dabble in interactions with the opposite sex, and still having emotional tantrums but dealing with them better

Definitely much younger but I find it very hard to set a certain number. Just I've been told enough that when I'm being myself I'm being "immature". And I love it

My real age is 27...unfortunately, and boy am I finding that hard to deal with.
Emotional age, I've always said that emotionally/mentally/socially I'm 7 years behind so that would make it 20, but in all honesty lately I've been feeling far younger emotionally as the asperger's problems are getting worse due to unemployment, right now I feel more like 8.

Isn't there some sort of quiz that determines one's emotional age?
