I found some inactive members who live in Tucson but nobody recently active here. I'd like to create a meetup for AS people in Tucson. So, if you are living in Tucson and would like to attend such a meetup let me know. Also if you know of any other meetup or support group for AS in Tucson please let me know.

I meant moment.....(spell check) there.

I saw the 14 (previously, now 16) and assumed it was your age, so I thought you were a freshman. Sorry.

Hi Miss Conflict. I'm in Tucson. We must be almost exactly the same age--I'll be turning 41 soon. I'm newly diagnosed and this is my first post to wrongplanet. I know we are supposed to introduce ourselves first but I saw your post and had to reply. I see that it's been over a year since you posted so I won't be surprised if I don't hear from you!

You probably already know about the adult Asperger's support meetings coordinated by Dr. Nichols. I had included the web address in this posting but the wrong planet rules told me I can't because I'm too much of a newbie. Just search "adult aspergers tucson" and you should come upon it easily.

The next meeting is August 2nd. I am working up to trying to attend but it's the kind of thing that's very daunting to me: new place, new people, finding a place to park etc. But I'm very interested in meeting other female Aspies because our experience of life tends to be a little different from the prototypical one which is of course based upon how males present.
