so, I've semi retire from dating (which mean I've no interesting in dating, but if right girls comes along I might go for it)
because I don't want to deal with women and all their problem however that don't mean I don't want to have female compainship.
I like to hang out and get to know more ladies but the problem is every time I try asking women to hang out with me.
they thinks Im hitting on them, which Im not.

this dating thing is lame, anyways. f it but I like to have female friends. when I talk to the ladies at the gym, what the best way to talk to them
to make them my new best friend?

Don't. . . just don't mate.

Female friendships only work if they're ugly, going with one of your pals, A friend of a friend or Friends of your Girlfriend. Otherwise they just don't work if you're a man.

Don't fill the role of the Gay friend, and don't get into a position where you'll care for her and fall into the friendzone. Might sound shallow but it saves -alot- of trouble.

However some advice that has worked for me on meeting girls to go out with. Meet other fellas and become their friends.. . Most of the time as long as they aren't Introverts you'll meet girls through them.

That's how I've got with the last three girls this month, try it. It oughta possibly maybe work.

all of the men i've dated on a serious level have had female friends. i didn't ask them ahead of time or check it off on a list, but it's a definite pattern.

but they didn't set out to make friends by asking them out on friend-dates. the friendships evolved naturally over time. they met in a shared environment (like a class, a club, a group, or a workplace), and then they got to know each other better bit by bit. usually there were a bunch of them that all got to know each other better over time and formed a loose grouping, then some people formed closer friendships over still longer. it didn't happen suddenly.

because this thread is about making friends, i've moved it from Love & Dating to Social Skills and Making Friends (where you can get practical advice).
