A million different things. Everybody likes and dislikes different stuff.
I guess I could point out my own flaws that I think make other people not like me.
- I talk too much. People say I go on and on about the same thing.
- I don't let them get a word in edgewise- I get too excited about whatever it is I'm talking about and forget to include the other person.
- I don't dress well, do my hair, put on makeup or make any other attempt to do what everybody else seems to be doing every day.
- I'm too blunt and matter-of-fact.
- My interests are way different than most other people. I hate TV and most social media. So I'm out of the loop when it comes to making conversation with most people I meet. It's hard to connect with them then.
This is my own personal opinion, but:
1. If you are different than most people, it might be hard to make friends bc people often look for friends they have something in common with.
2. If you are rude, you will hurt people's feelings and they might not like you afterward.
3. If people perceive you to be mean, they might not like you. They might think this if you often criticize others harshly or seem very judgmental.
However, there's a lot to be said for not conforming! I feel like my friends are real friends bc I don't act all fake around them. Yeah, they are quirky, too, but I'd rather have them than fake friends who like me bc I dress a certain way.
