I am an Aspie. Throughout my life, I've been taken to miniature golf courses on several occasions. For reasons which have completely eluded me, I've not once been able to behave myself at a miniature golf course. I spend all my time at these places beaning dinosaurs and whacking windmills.

Is there anyone else out there willing to admit that they go half a bubble off when they're on a miniature golf course or is it really just me? I'm perfectly all right in batting cages and am a wizard at air hockey. Please, do not spare my sensibilities or feelings here. Just tell me the truth. I believe I've the strength to handle it.

Thank you, kindly, in advance for your response. This really does haunt me.

It could be simply a maturity thing. Batting cages and Air Hockey are games, but they're somewhat adult games, so you act like an adult. Putting into a clowns mouth or under a dinosaurs legs are things clearly meant for children, so you act more child-like around them. I suspect that, in general, you adapt yourself to your environment and act accordingly. So if you were watching a serious movie, you'd be quiet and subdued, but if it's a kids movie you'd be giggly and rambunctious.

Do you feel bored and that is the only way you have fun playing miniature golf is by fooling around?

Seem's perfectly normal to me. When I was younger when I played "strategy" games or a game similar to that all I did was create havoc and raise some trouble.
One instance is in VATSIM on Flight Simulation X. I would purposely cause strife just for the excitement of it. Needless to say I was banned. haha.

Best Regards,

Jake

I have always played miniature golf the right way. Just go there and wait my turn and hit the ball and then hit it again until it goes in the hole.

I used to play that with my father when I was young. Countless are the times I flew off the handle because the bloody ball wouldnt go where I wanted it.
